MONASTIC

Proof

We will not show you a case study you cannot check.

Most agency proof is a logo wall and a percentage with no denominator. You are considering a retained partnership, so here is the standard everything on this page has to meet — and here is our own work measured against it.

Published case studies

What these records are, and what they are not

These are transcribed from our own campaign records and published anonymously. Every figure that appears here reconciles against the others in the same record. Several headline percentages from the source documents are deliberately missing, because they had no baseline or failed their own arithmetic — each omission is noted on the record it belongs to.

None of these measures revenue. They count leads, calls, conversions, rankings or reach. That distinction is the difference between a marketing report and a business result, and it is labelled on every record rather than blurred.

9Counted a business outcome
Leads, calls or conversions were counted. Revenue was not — no record here measures it.
2Visibility only
Rankings or search visibility moved. What that did to inquiries or revenue is not recorded.
1Reach only
Impressions, views or reach only. No business outcome is recorded in this one.

What every Monastic case study contains

This is a schema, not a promise of tone. Any published result that is missing one of these fields is a result we have not finished verifying.

  1. The starting condition, in the owner’s terms

What the business looked like before, described the way its owner would describe it — not the way it makes us look best.

  2. The constraint we identified, and why

Which stage was actually limiting revenue, and the evidence that led us there.

  3. What we actually changed

Specific work, not a list of capabilities. If most of the gain came from one change, we say which.

  4. The implementation context

Team size, existing systems, what we inherited, and what the client did themselves. Results are not transferable without context.

  5. The time period, stated as a range

Not "fast". Months, with start and end.

  6. Budget, when the client approves disclosing it

A result without its cost is not a result. Where a client will not disclose it, we say that rather than omitting the question.

  7. Every result with its measurement and confidence

Where the number came from, and whether it was reconciled to the client’s books, measured in a platform, or simply reported to us.

  8. What was unusual about the situation

Every engagement has something atypical. Leaving it out is how a case study becomes a promise.

  9. What is operationally different now

What the business can do that it could not do before — usually the part owners actually care about.

  10. Written permission to publish all of it

Named or anonymous, from the client, on the record.

The Blueprint works without any of this. Separately, may we measure how the site is used, and whether our advertising works? Both are optional. What each does.
